Course Description

Learning Outcomes
Please describe the learning outcomes of the course: Knowledge, skills and abilities acquired after the successful completion of the course.
Upon completion of the course, students will know how to make puppets and marionettes, which they may be able to integrate and use functionally in theatrical and other forms and expressions of art. Through this knowledge they will develop their creative and critical thinking and develop their artistic inspiration and imagination, applying the techniques they will be taught and which will help them to realize their ideas. The materials that will be used will play an important role in the making of the puppets and marionettes, many of which will be recycled or in other cases will come from the natural environment. This will develop the creative skills of the students, discovering new connections between the objects by changing their use, always respecting the environment in which we live.     
Objectives:
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
•    Make creative decisions.
•    Create puppets and marionettes.
•    Utilize object making techniques to realize artistic ideas, which they may use as expressive tools in art.  
•    Engage in productive and creative interaction with each other and between teacher and students. 
•    Exploit and expand their expressive and creative abilities.
•    Reuse creative recycling materials with respect for the environment in which they live. 
•    Utilize natural materials.  
•    Communicate and collaborate with each other to create both independent and group projects.
•    Sharpen their critical thinking on issues related to art and culture.
