The School of Fine Arts  at the University of the Peloponnese  establishes its own Choir and Music Ensemble (2026)

By decision of the Dean’s Council on July 14, 2026,  the establishment of the School of Fine Arts’ Choir and Music Ensemble was officially approved, under the artistic direction of Kimon Vasilopoulos and with the participation of students from the Department of Theater Studies and the Department of Performing and Digital Arts.
A call for auditions and participation in either the School’s Choir or its Music Ensemble is issued annually. The groups perform at events representing the School.

Kimon Vasilopoulos is a graduate soloist with an extensive track record in musicals, operas, concerts, and recordings in Greece and abroad; he is a member of the ERT Choir and Antonis Kontogeorgios’s solo ensemble “The Singers,” and a permanent member of the Cologne Opera Chorus, where he has made numerous solo appearances, such as his performance as the Evangelist at the Megaron Concert Hall under the baton of Maestro M. Karydis.
